Ricardo Bertolla, PhD
Dr. Ricardo Bertolla is a tenured professor of Urology at the Department of Surgery of the Sao Paulo Federal University. He is also Head of the Urological Research Center and of the Andrology Laboratory at the university. He has served as chair of the graduate program in urology, vice dean of graduate studies and research for the university and is currently chief of staff at the dean's office. He has published more than 70 articles in peer-reviewed journals, and is a leading researcher in male infertility, where he has been continuously funded for more than a decade and has completed supervision of 20 graduate students and post-dos. He is currently in the editorial board of Scientific Reports, where he guest edits the Sperm Biology and Male Reproductive Health collection.
