Scientific Symposium: Behind the Scenes of ART Innovation: Reinventing the Script for Fertility Care CME/CE

Date Thursday, June 5, 2025
Time 2:15pm - 3:00pm CST
Location Grand Ballroom

Summary

Although scientific advances have transformed IVF success rates over the past 40 years, the operational workflow in ART has remained largely unchanged. As demand for fertility care outpaces supply, the next decade of innovation will be driven not only by clinical breakthroughs but also by operational and business model changes that expand access, reduce costs, and meet patient expectations. Drawing lessons from other industries, this talk explores how fertility practices must adapt — or risk being disrupted.

Learning Objectives

  1. Understand the limitations of current ART workflows and why operational innovation is now critical to meeting rising global demand for fertility services.

  2. Differentiate between sustaining and disruptive innovations and recognize how these concepts apply to the evolving fertility care landscape.

  3. Identify strategic approaches fertility practices and networks can take to adapt to industry changes, improve efficiency, and maintain relevance in a rapidly shifting environment.
