Summary
GLP-1a medications have dramatically changed the treatment for weight management. REI's should be familiar with these medications in order to provide excellent, comprehensive fertility care to patients with obesity.
Learning Objectives
1.Describe relationship between obesity and reproductive health and review current data on weight loss and fertility outcomes. Evaluate the safety and efficacy of new anti-obesity medications in patients undergoing fertility care
2.Develop individualized, evidence-based obesity and fertility treatment plans
3.Improving fertility care for patients with obesity GLP-1a medications have dramatically changed the treatment for weight management.
