What do we Know About Egg Donation and the Experience of Donors? Egg donation is an increasingly utilized path for family building. While much of the focus in this area has been on donor recipients and their offspring, it is also important to consider the experiences of the egg donors themselves. This presentation will provide an overview of current trends related to egg donation and examine how egg donors tend to perceive their experiences with this process. This presentation will review how providers can best support egg donors in the donation process (and beyond). Participants will learn about current trends related to the utilization of egg donation for family building. Participants will examine factors associated with satisfaction or regret related to the decision to be an egg donor. Participants will identify ways that providers can best support donors during the egg donation process.
