Steven Young, MD, PhD

Dr. Steven Young MD, PhD, is a clinician, educator, and translational research scientist. He is a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Director the Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility division at the Duke University. He has won multiple awards for clinical care, research, and teaching and has published more than 130 peer-reviewed papers and 60 book chapters, reviews, and commentary articles, as well as six patents. Dr. Young has also been active in national and international research and clinical communities. He is currently Immediate Past President of the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (SREI), where he formerly chaired the education committee. He has served as a reviewer and/or editorial board member for more than 20 Journals, and currently is on the editorial board of Fertility and Sterility Reviews. He has also served the American Society for Reproductive Medicine as President of the Reproductive Immunology Special Interest Group the Endometriosis Special Interest Group. He is currently a principal investigator on two NIH-funded grants, both related to endometriosis and endometrial function, one a multicenter clinical trial and the other a collaborative center grant, as well as co-investigator on other research grants.
