Kevin Doody, MD

Dr. Doody majored in Plan II at The University of Texas at Austin, Medical School and Residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. 1989 Dr. Doody co-founded the Center for Assisted Reproduction with his wife. He is the Director of the Diagnostic Laboratory and Embryology Laboratory since 1989 and a certified High Complexity Laboratory Director. Dr. Doody a Clinical Professor at University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. Director of the CARE ambulatory surgical center since 1996. Awarded “Microsoft Physician of the Year” in 2004 for his work in healthcare software architecture and in 2006 was the winner of Microsoft’s top prize in the ambulatory medical record category. Oral board examiner for 10 years on the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the subspecialty of REI. Served on the board of directors of the Society for Assisted Reproduction in 2009 and officer with SART through 2014, chair of the SART Registry committee, SART president in 2017 and continues to serve on the SART Executive Board. Published numerous manuscripts and book chapters. Recipient of RESOLVE Night of Hope Achievement award in 2017 and ASRM Distinguished Service Award in 2020.
