Bruce Shapiro, MD, HCLD, PhD

Dr. Shapiro completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Yale New Haven Hospital and his fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at Yale University. He is sub-specialty board-certified in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Amsterdam. Dr. Shapiro is a Clinical Professor at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Dr. Shapiro is also a high-complexity laboratory director. He is the founder and Medical Director of The Fertility Center of Las Vegas. Dr. Shapiro is well-published and known for his research which has included the effects of ovarian stimulation on the endometrium, freeze-all cycles, GnRH agonist for triggering final oocyte maturation, and the effects of ovarian follicle size on embryo quality.
